We believe there are five primary program areas in which BLEXIT Foundation must engage to accomplish its vision [documented as goals in this StratML rendition] The organization promotes educational initiatives, pursues criminal justice reform, educates minority communities regarding America’s founding principles, and highlights the importance of free markets and entrepreneurship as the antidote to poverty. The BLEXIT Foundation achieves these goals by providing news and commentary through BLEXIT websites, curating BLEXIT programming, producing BLEXIT merchandise, and hosting BLEXIT events. BLEXIT live events both amplify the message of the movement and illuminate its ideals through an immersive display of original film, provocative visuals, live music, and renowned speakers. BLEXIT events are both a rallying cry for freedom and an electrifying live experience that blurs the line between pop and politics. Candace and Brandon seek to educate minorities across America about the history of our great country by highlighting the principles of the Constitution of the United States and the importance of self-reliance. The two believe it is time to take criminal justice reform seriously to stop the over-incarceration of minorities, to build strong families in the minority communities, and to value the life and the sanctity of every individual.Candace OwensCandace Owens was born in Stamford, Connecticut. She attended the University of Rhode Island for three years to study journalism before leaving to work in New York City. Owens worked in fashion, followed by private equity for four years before launching a website to combat cyberbullying in 2016. The effort was met with unexpected controversy. As a result of the pressures and criticism her start-up faced, Candace became more active in the world of politics, particularly in the context of social media being used as a method of political manipulation. Candace's authentic, fearless, and often countercultural statements have positioned her as a prominent figure in the current cultural dialogue. Candace is particularly dedicated to advocating for independent thinking among minorities after discovering that minorities' best interests are often subordinated to political party agendas. Brandon TatumBrandon Tatum is a communications specialist and popular social media personality. Brandon has been featured on Fox Business, Fox & Friends, and Headline News - to name a few. Brandon has an active social media following due to his authentic personality and natural ability to relate to the everyday American. Brandon got his start as an All-American high school football player in Fort Worth, Texas. He was featured in the US-Army All-American Game, which showcases the top seventy-eight high school football players in the nation. Brandon accepted a full athletic scholarship from the University of Arizona in 2005. He then played at Arizona for five years and entered the NFL Draft in 2010; however, God had other plans. Brandon joined the Tucson Police Department a year later. During this tenure, Brandon served as a SWAT operator, field training officer, general instructor, and a Public Information Officer. In 2016, Brandon Tatum gained notoriety online after releasing a string of viral videos touching on social issues, politics, and law enforcement. Soon after, Brandon left law enforcement and followed his passion to speak on these topics full-time.
