As part of her consulting work Tammie has served as the Project Manager for the Northside Development Group’s Northside Initiative in Spartanburg, SC for over 6 years. Tammie also helped to launch the Greenville Housing Fund in 2018. Tammie serves on the SC Community Capital Alliance and the Innovate Fund Advisory Committee.  Through her consulting firm she has also worked with national Community Development Finance Institutions (CDFIs) through her work with Opportunity Finance Network and the National Federation for Community Development Credit Unions, now called Inclusiv.

Tammie most recently served as the CEO for CommunityWorks, a Greenville based South Carolina, state-wide Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) where she led the organization from 2020-2022 through the pandemic and a significant growth phase. She grew the organization from $14M in assets to over $29M, raising over $8M in contributions, grants, and impact investments.</Description></Stakeholder><Stakeholder StakeholderTypeType="Organization"><Name>Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond</Name><Description>Prior to founding Together Consulting, Tammie worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. As the Federal Reserve Bank’s Regional Community Development Manager, Tammie was responsible for community economic development outreach and education for North and South Carolina. Before working for the Federal Reserve Bank Tammie spent six years as the Director of the Lowcountry Housing Trust. In her capacity as founding Executive Director, she worked to develop and implement the first local housing trust fund in South Carolina and led the organization to receive Community Development Finance Institution (CDFI) designation from the US Treasury Department.
