David Ames for Hilton Head Town CouncilThe Town of Hilton Head Island is at an important juncture as it enters its 4th decade as a municipality. Therefore, after much careful thought, and encouragement from many of you, I’ve decided to seek re-election for Town Council for three key reasons: First, I cherish our hometown as much today as when I arrived here ­­47 years ago, and I believe Town Council is the right place for me best to serve the “One Island, One Community” I love. Second, Hilton Head Island is at a pivotal point where citizens deserve solutions that are creative, practical, and also true to our long-standing Island values. I believe my experience and skills can best contribute to those solutions. Third, I want to continue to be a champion for our community’s vibrant future.
