A way of working. And it is a complete system with which you organize work. That system contains all the rules and processes that ensure fair decision-making. In Holacracy, the purpose – the goal of the organization – is the boss and not the CEO or a manager...
Practical: what is Holacracy for change in the organization?
There are four most obvious differences between a traditional hierarchical structure and a holacratic organization:</Description></Value><Value><Name>Roles</Name><Description>No more functions ~ from functions to roles</Description></Value><Value><Name>Distributed Authority</Name><Description>No more boss ~ from delegated authority to distributed authority</Description></Value><Value><Name>Agility</Name><Description>Agile ~ no more major reorganisations, but evolve quickly step by step</Description></Value><Value><Name>Responsibility</Name><Description>Clarity about responsibilities ~ from office politics in which implicit expectations play a key role to clear visible rules</Description></Value><Value><Name>Clarity</Name><Description/></Value><Goal><Name>Self-Organization</Name><Description>Support organizations with self-organization</Description><Identifier>_a9d88bf8-9b38-11ec-b2a6-e71f1483ea00</Identifier><SequenceIndicator/><Stakeholder><Name/><Description/></Stakeholder><OtherInformation/><Objective><Name>Coaching</Name><Description>Provide tools, methods and attitudes supporting transparent and dynamic work processes</Description><Identifier>_a9d88c98-9b38-11ec-b2a6-e71f1483ea00</Identifier><SequenceIndicator>1</SequenceIndicator><Stakeholder><Name/><Description/></Stakeholder><OtherInformation>Transparent and dynamic work processes that increase the value of services and products ~ Agile coaching results in a transparent and anti-fragile organization. This means that the organization can quickly respond to changes inside and outside the company.

In order to be as agile and transparent in the work processes, the agile coaches provide the right tools, methods and attitude. When organizations are used to predicting and controlling, a change in the way of thinking is needed. The teams get used to this by working with quick adjustments and by managing dynamically. In this way, a culture shift gradually takes place, which leads to more value for the goals of the organization.

Agile coaches support autonomous teams to work efficiently. By continuously collecting feedback from end users, the teams work on an optimal value of their service or product.</OtherInformation></Objective><Objective><Name>Teams</Name><Description>Develop self-organizing teams</Description><Identifier>_a9d88d38-9b38-11ec-b2a6-e71f1483ea00</Identifier><SequenceIndicator>2</SequenceIndicator><Stakeholder><Name/><Description/></Stakeholder><OtherInformation>Team development in self-organization ~ Anchoring self-organization
What we want to achieve by deploying team development in self-organization is that self-organization is anchored in the undercurrent of behavior and communication. This leads to people taking full ownership of the circle's goals and their roles, for example by making independent decisions.

The team communicates in an equal, mature way and where people fall into old patterns, this is noticed and discussed. Tensions and frustrations are not taken personally, but are used constructively for the goals of the role, the circle and the organization.</OtherInformation></Objective><Objective><Name>Training &amp; Workshops</Name><Description>Support organizations with self-organization</Description><Identifier>_a9d88e14-9b38-11ec-b2a6-e71f1483ea00</Identifier><SequenceIndicator>3</SequenceIndicator><Stakeholder><Name/><Description/></Stakeholder><OtherInformation>Energized.org has already helped more than 120 organizations and teams to take the step towards self-organization, more efficient work processes and team development.

Our goal is to maximize the potential of organizations. 'Unlock power for purpose!'.

Self-organization is key. We do this on the basis of Holacracy® , among other things, because clear and fair rules contribute to room for entrepreneurship, psychological safety and innovation and agile scrum.

The coaches are seasoned professionals. Our aim is - just like when learning a new sport - to ensure a smooth learning process as coaches while you immediately start practicing self-organization. We focus on an agile approach in which you as an organization determine how fast you want to go.</OtherInformation></Objective></Goal></StrategicPlanCore><AdministrativeInformation><StartDate/><EndDate/><PublicationDate>2022-03-03</PublicationDate><Source>https://energized.org/</Source><Submitter><GivenName>Owen</GivenName><Surname>Ambur</Surname><PhoneNumber/><EmailAddress>Owen.Ambur@verizon.net</EmailAddress></Submitter></AdministrativeInformation></PerformancePlanOrReport>
