It is particularly valuable to those underserved businesses that have traditionally had trouble accessing the conventional credit market. Its flexibility enables small businesses to obtain financing of up to $5 million for various business uses, with a loan maturity of up to 10 years for working capital and 25 years for real estate. The SBA guarantees a portion of 7(a) loans made 
and administered by commercial lending institutions. Loans can be guaranteed for a variety of general business purposes. The 7(a) family of loans includes regular 7(a) loans, SBA Express, Patriot Express, CAPLine, Community Advantage, Small Loan Advantage, Rural Loan Advantage, GO Loans, Dealer Floor Plan, and International Trade loans such as Export Express, Export Working Capital, EXIM loans.
