The Advisory Council supports the park's mission by advising the Boston Harbor Islands Partnership on operational issues and by serving as a conduit for public opinion. The Advisory Council is the primary mechanism of the Partnership to consult with the public on matters of park planning and management. Members of the Council encourage theinvolvement of individuals and communities (both geographic and affinity groups) in park managementissues by providing information about the park and delivering the feedback they receive back to the Partnership.
