He is a Virginia affiliate of the National Speakers Association, a Knowledge Management Faculty Associate at Kent State University, and a member of The George Washington University Institute for Knowledge and Innovation.Previous employments include PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was a principle consultant to major corporations for knowledge management and performance improvement; Adobe Systems where he was the manager of the instructional design department; Capital One Financial Services where he was the knowledge management department head for 40 associates; Lockheed Martin where he designed a 9-week course for satellite operations; and Penn State where he served on the faculty at the Applied Research Lab. John holds a Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Southern California, with a dissertation focus on mental models and decision making. John has delivered a Masters Series presentation at the International Society for Performance Improvement conference, and was acknowledged by Gartner with a Best Practice paper for a knowledge management implementation. John is the author of the book “The Explanation Age,” which provides tools for the coming age of knowledge and decision transparency, with implications for Business, Education, and Governments.
