These threats have appeared in numerous forms over FreedomWorks' 30-year history, and our goal has always been to educate and mobilize citizens about the most pressing challenges of the moment as well as those that are still emerging. 1. There is no question that the runaway regulatory state that threatens to permanently upset our constitutional order. 2. Without course correction, entitlements threaten to bankrupt our country. 3. Economic education has been bent towards Big Government and became too complex for everyone to understand.</Description><OtherInformation>What is the organization aiming to accomplish? FreedomWorks Foundation had identified three key policy challenges at the heart of our fight for freedom: the regulatory state, winning the economic debate, and entitlement reform. Each of these issues addresses broad-based concerns regarding the size and scope of government, the constitutionality of the issue at hand, and whether government operates for the benefit of ordinary citizens or special interest groups. We educate on terms of economic liberty, constitutional conservatism, and civic activism. Our ultimate goal is to strengthen the constitutional republic our Founding Fathers set in motion more than two hundred years ago. FreedomWorks Foundation offers the ideas of freedom to an educated network of citizens committed to economic liberty, trained in effective mobilization skills, and organized to push our education. We strengthen their efforts by educating legislative leaders who possess both the procedural and tactical skills necessary to control the debate and affect policy outcomes. We are not primarily a "think-tank," content to study the issues and publish papers and reports. FreedomWorks breaks down the barriers between the beltway insiders and grassroots America. FreedomWorks was founded to fight for liberty and brought together some of the best and brightest minds of the liberty movement. Since then, we've expanded our ambitions from a free-market think tank to a service center for the grassroots freedom movement across the whole country. On a series of key issues this year, FreedomWorks Foundation seeks to give our members the tools and skills to show up—to be effective grassroots voices for the cause of limited, constitutional government, free enterprise, and individual liberty. We operate as an essential complement to and distributor for the work of other free-market think tanks, helping them get their work into the hands of a nationwide network of engaged activists.</OtherInformation><PerformanceIndicator PerformanceIndicatorType="Quantitative" ValueChainStage="Outcome"><SequenceIndicator>1.1.1</SequenceIndicator><MeasurementDimension>Contributions</MeasurementDimension><UnitOfMeasurement>Dollars</UnitOfMeasurement><Identifier>_d50fa348-f214-11ea-aeaa-ad572b83ea00</Identifier><Relationship><Identifier>PLACEHOLDER_1</Identifier><ReferentIdentifier/><Name/><Description/></Relationship><MeasurementInstance><TargetResult><Description>Unspecified</Description><Descriptor><DescriptorName>Direction of Success</DescriptorName><DescriptorValue/></Descriptor><StartDate>2017-01-01</StartDate><EndDate>2017-12-31</EndDate></TargetResult><TargetResult><Description>Unspecified</Description><Descriptor><DescriptorName>Direction of Success</DescriptorName><DescriptorValue/></Descriptor><StartDate>2016-01-01</StartDate><EndDate>2016-12-31</EndDate></TargetResult><ActualResult><Description>Contributions: 2017 = $4,529,071</Description><Descriptor><DescriptorName/><DescriptorValue>Increasing</DescriptorValue></Descriptor><NumberOfUnits>4529071</NumberOfUnits><StartDate>2017-01-01</StartDate><EndDate>2017-12-31</EndDate></ActualResult><ActualResult><Description>Total dollars received in contributions: 2016 = $3,556,394</Description><Descriptor><DescriptorName/><DescriptorValue>Baseline</DescriptorValue></Descriptor><NumberOfUnits>3556394</NumberOfUnits><StartDate>2016-01-01</StartDate><EndDate>2016-12-31</EndDate></ActualResult></MeasurementInstance><OtherInformation>TYPE OF METRIC: Other - describing something else</OtherInformation></PerformanceIndicator></Objective></Goal><Goal><Name>Entitlements</Name><Description>Advance pro-growth, market-based entitlement reform</Description><Identifier>_d6266136-f142-11ea-a492-5e500083ea00</Identifier><SequenceIndicator>2</SequenceIndicator><Stakeholder StakeholderTypeType="Generic_Group"><Name/><Description/><Role><Name/><Description/></Role></Stakeholder><OtherInformation>Entitlement Reform -- Left unchecked, federal spending on entitlements is careening toward European proportions, with the possibility of consuming all federal tax revenue within 30 years.
