He became Schlumberger’s UK Chair in 2005.  He has also served as Chair of the UK's Oil and Gas Industry Council and of OPITO International, the upstream oil &amp; gas skills organization, and was Co-Chair of industry trade association Oil &amp; Gas UK.Gordon graduated from the University of Glasgow with a B.SC. Hons in Civil Engineering and holds a Masters in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.</Description></Stakeholder><Stakeholder StakeholderTypeType="Person"><Name>John Campbell</Name><Description>Technical Director -- John Campbell is IOGP's Technical Director and has worked for the Association since 1997.  His portfolio includes environmental and legal disciplines which support his role as IOGP’s representative at a wide range of international organisations including the UN, IMO, IWC and regional seas conventions for the north east Atlantic, the Mediterranean Sea and West Africa. He has also worked with Arctic Council working groups, notably PAME, as an invited expert.Before joining IOGP, John was a senior advisor on marine pollution issues to the UK Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Food and represented the UK on a range of international marine pollution committees, chairing the scientific advisory bodies of both the London and Oslo Conventions.John’s education includes a Ph.D. in nuclear geochemistry from Glasgow University as well as post-doctoral research fellowships at Bedford Institute of Oceanography in Nova Scotia and at Liverpool University in the UK.</Description></Stakeholder><Stakeholder StakeholderTypeType="Person"><Name>Roland Festor</Name><Description>European Union Affairs Director -- Roland Festor joined the International Association of Oil &amp; Gas Producers as the new Director for European Union Affairs in June 2013.A French citizen, Mr. Festor has an engineering degree from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées in Paris and came to IOGP with 35 years of industry experience.He began his career as a structural engineer before joining Total’s Exploration and Production division in 1977. He led the company’s operations in the United Kingdom (where Total is one of the biggest oil and gas producers), Indonesia and Angola before completing his time at Total as Senior Adviser within the Africa Division.A long-time proponent of upstream safety, Mr. Festor served on the board of Oil &amp; Gas UK until 2011 and was part of its "Step Change for Safety" leadership team. He has also held positions in several other national oil and gas associations. Mr. Festor was recently elected as a non-executive director of Oil Spill Response Limited, the cross-industry body set up to quickly respond to spill emergencies.</Description></Stakeholder><Stakeholder StakeholderTypeType="Person"><Name>Chris Hawkes</Name><Description>Safety Director -- Chris joined IOGP as Safety Director in February 2016. In addition to facilitating the work of the Safety, Wells Experts and Subsea committees, Chris represents IOGP at international stakeholder meetings, including those with regulators and governments.Chris has 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with both Shell and BP. Chris is a Marine Engineer having spent 13 years at sea rising to the rank of Chief Engineer. Chris has held a variety of roles in Marine, Safety and Operational Risk and Upstream areas of the business, most recently with BP, including VP S&amp;OR Audit, Developments Division, Upstream Safety Director and HSE Manager for BP in Angola.Chris is a qualified Marine Engineer and holds an MBA from the Curtin Graduate School of Business School in Perth, Western Australia.</Description></Stakeholder><Stakeholder StakeholderTypeType="Person"><Name>Wendy Brown</Name><Description>Environment Director -- Wendy has been seconded to IOGP from Total E&amp;P headquarters in Paris, where she was responsible for the Environment Department and its support of Total’s upstream operations around the world.  Previously she had worked for Total in the UK and Canada.With her 15 years at Total and 12 years as a consultant before that, Wendy brings to IOGP extensive  experience, including defining environmental policies, strategies and management systems as well familiarity with every aspect of the environmental management of the E&amp;P lifecycle.
