Through these campaigns we develop leaders, build our base, shift the consciousness of our community, and alter relations of power. In all cases, we seek to work in partnership with organizations made up of and/or accountable to those who have personal experience with the challenges we are hoping to address. We have helped win higher minimum wages, paid family leave, police accountability, affordable housing, and many other progressive policies. We continue to move resources and power into the hands of people of color who have been systematically blocked out of the political process to benefit the ultra-wealthy and their interests. To power our advocacy efforts, we build a Jewish community that is dedicated to pursuing justice, understands the key issues in our city and region, and that has the tools and skills to make change.
<OtherInformation>[Submitter's Note: The goals documented in this StratML rendition are taken from JUFJ's profile on GuideStar: https://www.guidestar.org/profile/52-2346578]</OtherInformation><StrategicPlanCore><Organization>
JUFJ<Identifier>_5b47a784-8a73-11eb-b098-e8f72283ea00</Identifier>
Jews United for Justice (JUFJ) was created in April, 1998 by a small group of Jews in the greater Washington, DC area.Drawing on a tradition of Jewish commitment to justice and the talents and dedication of our leaders, JUFJ is a grassroots community that seeks to repair the world by working locally for social, racial, and economic justice.
<Stakeholder StakeholderTypeType="Generic_Group">

One day, everyone in the Washington-Baltimore region will have what they need to live and thrive, and a real voice in democracy, no matter the color of their skin, where they are from, or how much money they have.
</Stakeholder><Stakeholder StakeholderTypeType="Generic_Group">

Our government will focus on equity and justice, and will respond to the needs of poor and working people, whether Black, brown, or white, who had once been systemically barred from resources and power.
</Stakeholder><Stakeholder StakeholderTypeType="Generic_Group">

We work so that our Jewish community is a proud and valued partner in bringing about that day through multiracial, multifaith, cross-class movements working for social, racial, and economic justice...Jews United for Justice advances economic, racial, and social justice in the Baltimore-Washington region by educating and mobilizing our local Jewish communities to action.
</Stakeholder><Stakeholder StakeholderTypeType="Generic_Group">

We move our region closer to equity and justice by advancing issue-based campaigns that make real, immediate, and concrete improvements in people’s lives and build the power of working-class and poor communities of color.
</Stakeholder><Stakeholder StakeholderTypeType="Generic_Group">

Through these campaigns we develop leaders, build our Jewish grassroots community, shift the consciousness of our community, and build the collective power needed to undo systemic racism and inequality.
</Stakeholder><Stakeholder StakeholderTypeType="Generic_Group">

</Stakeholder><Stakeholder StakeholderTypeType="Person">

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
</Stakeholder><Stakeholder StakeholderTypeType="Person">

DEPUTY DIRECTOR AND RABBI IN RESIDENCE
</Stakeholder><Stakeholder StakeholderTypeType="Person">

BALTIMORE DIRECTOR
</Stakeholder><Stakeholder StakeholderTypeType="Person">

PROGRAM ASSISTANT
</Stakeholder><Stakeholder StakeholderTypeType="Person">

COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
</Stakeholder><Stakeholder StakeholderTypeType="Person">

LEGISLATIVE DIRECTOR, DC FAMILY AND ECONOMIC SECURITY CAMPAIGNS
</Stakeholder><Stakeholder StakeholderTypeType="Person">

OPERATIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE
</Stakeholder><Stakeholder StakeholderTypeType="Person">

MONTGOMERY COUNTY COMMUNITY ORGANIZER &
