The Commissioners come from a wide variety of fields, but have the common bond of being leaders themselves. With their diverse backgrounds they are able to evaluate applicants from a variety of backgrounds. Commissioners represent academia, business, government, the arts and community service. The Commission''s reponsibility is to recommend 11-19 future leaders to the President for appointment as White House Fellows.
